Wow, a 15" full HD IPS screen WITH TOUCH, an i5, and an SSD all together near the $400 mark? This is basically a black friday level price here. If I needed a new laptop, this would certainly be up for consideration.

11th gen intel needs Intel RST drivers.

Somewhere along the way I started using Casper cloning software to make my clones and incremental clones.

This one says max memory is 8gb while the OP says 12GB max memory. Does it mean that this one does not have removable upgradeable memory slot like that of the OP?
On the other hand, this one says it can do PD on the USB-C while OP does not mention it.

This isn't a bad laptop, but it's too expensive for the low end and really isn't a high end system either. So, why? At least the Walmart Gateway at $349 offers a quad core and 16gb of ram.

Not the same machine, this is a downgrade compared to OP. Has non-expandable 8GB soldered. OP machine has 4GB soldered + 4GB in a removable slot.

I recently had my Macbook Pro stolen and needed to get a replacement fairly quickly, with no payout from my insurance. I got an open-box Dell XPS 13" with 16GB Memory and 512GB SSD for $900, thanks to some Best Buy rewards.

That seemed like a pretty good deal to me. I like it so far, even though I had to take it back to get them to fully reset it. Is there any compelling reason to take it back and replace it with this one, which is less than half the price?
