Costco gives you a total of 7 year warranty. 2 standard for buying a tv at Costco + 2 years for using costco citi card + 3 years all state warranty. I'm not concerned about burn in since I don't watch sports with static images and mainly game which is varied content in my use case. Costco also offers 90 returns for any reason.

4% cash back from executive membership and costco citi card.

+$100 streaming credit
+ lg tone earbuds

I'm going the costco route.

The Allstate warranty included here doesn't offer burn-in protection. Best Buy (Geek Squad) warranty isn't the only one that includes burn-in protection... but they are the most reputable.

I admittedly bought an upsie warranty for my C1... But that site just seemed iffy. Plus the reviews were all over the place. Couldn't find any solid customer experiences about a successful fix or replacement of an OLED with burn in with upsie. Just really wonder if they'll come through if I ever needed to make a claim. Crossing fingers I never have to use it.

Anyone have input on upsie?

I went for the BuyDig deal for the same price. Comes with $50 Visa gift card and CPS warranty of 4 years which includes burn in.

Ditto on burning not being an issue with normal use. I have a question though:

Does the warranty extend to 7 if you purchase with the Costco Citi card? From Citi terms:

"Coverage begins when the manufacturer's warranty, or an extended warranty you purchased, expires. In no event will total coverage exceed seven years from the purchase date."

Additionally, burn-in is pretty rare with the newer oled models. I have yet to hear of any problems regarding burn-in with the C1 models. This is a very good price.

I think the A80J has better processing, because it's Sony. I also think Sony as a brand is probably more reliable. I dont think the LG OLED is lacking in any way, but if I were buying today I would go Sony. I currently own 2 LG OLEDs (older) and 2 Sony LED's (newer).
