UbreakIfixit calls out SD Android App

I was having connectivity issues on my Note20U wherein I was experiencing network blackouts (no incoming outgoing calls, or texts) and occasionally no internet connection in spite of being connected to Wi-Fi or 5G on T-mobile.
I took the phone in to a local UbreakIfixit after Samsung recommended I take it in, they ran an "IQC" test, which they explained tests incoming call quality or something like that and pointed out that the Slickdeals app was somehow hindering the connectivity and calls on my phone and then proceeded to give me a whole spiel about downloading safe apps, and only from Google play store. I have bitdefender mobile security installed also, and it didn't
detect anything malicious either.
The app doesn't have any permissions on my phone. But their tests pointed to this app (out of 109 apps) specifically. Nothing outside play store and Samsung galaxy store.
Anybody experienced this?
