If you are searching for a laptop under $600, I think this is a great value with a discreet graphics card. I bought 2 for my kids. I had to order with different addresses though as they limit one per household.
Last year BF price which isn't a bad thing considering the current market.
Still, the lack of an updated gpu hurts the later gen amd CPU pairing.. just like laptops with 720p there are probably better choices out there than this

No...last year 1650/4600H was 449 at BB. That's a fair price, not 600. Plus this GPU is very weak...you won't get many years out of it. I was not impressed by it, coming from a GTX1060 laptop.

There are laptops with 3050 and up but they were about $150~$200 more. My kids in elementary school needed a new laptop. I was looking around $500 range laptops and I found this one better than other ones without discrete gfx. It's definitely not for long term gaming laptop but will last for my kids for school work, light gaming (minecraft, roblox etc) and some video editing without issue.

Why do they need video editing in elementary school...?
It's a warm deal if GTX 1650 works for you. In the past few months they're usually around $650-$700. I personally would get at least 3050ti which will perform reasonably well on 70-80% of the titles. 1650 is just too limited on what you can play.

Having a child in 6th grade, even in grade school they would do slide shows, sometimes embed a video, use one of the really basic video creation programs, and while his Chromebook wouldn't support it with the programs the school permitted on it, he should have been resizing videos to play inside presentations (to reduce bandwith). You may ask why do that - because you have an entire classroom doing the assignment at the same time. It DID lag at times.
Now in 6th grade and the Future City Competition, he will definitely be doing some video editing. Also I am going to need to pick up something able to do sound with analysis so he can have his playing input, and then analyzed, in real time. I haven't really started shopping hard for this because he just started, but he REALLY loves playing.

3050/ti would've made this a good deal.
