Do you feel the same way about google, facebook, amazon, most wi'fi setups, most cell phones, mobile applications, and likely the parent company of this website?

There are technical issues that happen.

I have some of their 365 day models, and two of them that see maybe 1 or 2 events a day still have 55 percent battery after 460 days.

Does this require the base station thing? I only have indoor eufy cameras currently.

The recordings and info go to you, locally. They don't go to servers and the cloud.

We're not talking about my google searches here, we're talking about internet cameras that some people might put inside their house.

The security breach that happen wasn't a data leak of peoples emails, it was people seeing other peoples camera feeds. That's a huge issue and way bigger than someone's email getting exposed.

Does not need base station. Memory is not upgradable though.

Yes, I think Eufy is probably better because there is no subscription service with Eufy. Ring users seem to have just as many problems with their cameras as Eufy users. I have 2 Pro 2s, a doorbell, a wired PTZ and a wired 2K indoor cam. They are not perfect, and require fiddling, but overall I'm pretty happy.

The Eufy has a live view, and also will record a clip of the trigger event that you can watch later, allowing you to see events that happened while you were sleeping, away from your phone etc.

Ring will do this too, but only if you pay for the subscription. For free, all you can do is to look at the live view.

Battery life is pretty dependent on how many triggers the camera gets, which is a function of where it's located. Be warned that the camera will almost certainly need recharging more often than it states in the advertisement. My Eufy wireless doorbell needs monthly charging, and shuts off in the direct sun due to overheating periodically.

Better avoid Ring and Nest cameras too...

4 month battery is meh......mine are 6 months and I feel like I have to charge them all the time.
4 month is like 3 weeks for me for the doorbell anyways and for some.reason its recently stopped detecting anything on the highest sensitivity. I'll probably be switching to ring soon.

Any thoughts on this price going even lower on BF? If so, how low?

I have a set of 4 2c pros around the house and a 2k wired doorbell. Overall they're ok but motion detection is pretty mediocre. I don't have nothing to compare to except a ring doorbell but that one really sucked.

I'm not sure I trust that these things provide sufficient security but it's nice to be able to see around the house.

I just made a year with them and dealing with eufy to replace a door bell and camera wasn't too bad as far as warranty.
