I was going to pull the trigger on this, but the ADF is NOT auto-duplexing [i.e., if you use the document feeder (on the top) for double-sided scanning, you'll have to manually flip the pages.] Frown (Source: PCMAG.com)

It does have auto-duplexing for printing, however. (Walmart.com listing).

Otherwise, the replacement (non-OEM) toner cartridges are available for a good price. I cannot personally comment on the quality, but there are some with (mostly) good reviews.(Amazon.com)

Thanks for clarifying the duplexing capability; these Brother all-in-one series printers have so many feature nuances between models that's it's hard to keep track of all of them.

I've used the Greencycle brand of aftermarket toner cartridges for years with my Canon laser printers and it's been flawless. And I've been using it in my Brother laser all-in-one with no issues since earlier this year. It's attractively priced as well on Amazon, especially in multipacks.

Yeah, I have the 8000 series that does this. Mine was refurbished in 2015, has supported my law office, and moved across the country, with zero issues. It is bulletproof. Knock on wood.

Very cheap aftermarket toner as well.

If you do not need auto duplex scanning, the one in the OP is an excellent price for an excellent printer.

My Brother printer got problem.

It only grab the 1st page, print and it jam!

I have put on the tray, little paper, middle and lots of paper, no luck!

The paper quality is normal, not thin or thick.

I have clean the rollers.

Dont know what else I can do!

Did you buy refurb or new? Can you confirm the page count for the printer?

I don't have any constructive advice for the printer itself (sounds as if you've gone through the basics, like cleaning the path) but perhaps if you've gotten enough life out of it relative to your investment it might be justifiable to consider an upgrade/swap(?).

I had sort of an opposite scenario during the earlier part of last year, where I'd been waiting on a deal for a new laser printer (all of which had evaporated) so I had to "give up" and buy replacement toner for my existing model. Frustrating in part because my current model doesn't auto-duplex.

Good luck!

The funny thing is that this printer is seldom use. I bought it brand new. I have clean the rollers. No paper stuck. It just can't pick up the 2nd paper after printing the first one. It just say jam, which is not. I am puzzled!

might just be a QC issue when it was built. it's not like these are designed very robustt to begin with, and the quality control is very basic. lots of things get overlooked or just shipped out cause fark it.

It sounds like you may have a paper sensor that is dirty, has a scrap of paper or other debris in it, or has been knocked out of place. These sensors can be hard to find unless you know where to look, because they are generally in the belly of the beast, so to speak. Your printer is likely showing a jam after printing once because one of these sensors failed to "clear" after the paper passed through. Because you're getting one print prior to showing a jam, I'm guessing it's likely a sensor close to the paper exit. There are 3 basic types of these sensors: 1. Reflective, which bounces a beam of light off of the paper for sensing; 2.Mechanical, which has a little "finger" that is tripped by the paper passing, which is in turn tied to either an optical or magnet/reed switch type sensor. 3. Optical, which has transmitter and receiver on opposite sides of where the paper passes so that the paper interrupts a beam, similar to garage door obstruction safety sensors. You may be able to find a YouTube video that shows where these sensors are and how to troubleshoot and/or clean them. An exploded parts diagram for your model will show their location as well
