Good deal, but i'd rather get the 8520 that doesn't have the bridge.

Yes, I have had the same model for the past 1 year and few months and always worked flawlessly, the only issue is the battery charging they claim 1 year before requiring charge but with daily use id say opening and closing the door at least 20 times a day (kids/amazon packages/etc) it lasts more like 9/10 months before recharging not a big deal breaker but its there lol
So you're getting a rechargeable version (instead of AA batteries)? Is the rechargeable battery replaceable? I don't want to be stuck with a dead battery in the later years of the product. Thanks!

If I have this correct, this is the rechargeable version. All eufy locks have double AA batteries regardless ... Only this one I think you can charge via micro sub cable atleast the one I have. No the battery you have to recharge after 1 year of use

I thought the WIFI built in version at about $249 has the rechargeable pack. This comes with rechargeable AA.

If you see the Amazon screenshots it's shows you are able to plug in ... Not sure I'm confused

You can plug in a power bank to use it temporarily. It's a great function in case your batteries die

I actually have both versions, and prefer this version because it uses AA batteries instead of Eufys proprietary battery.

Everything else is exactly identical from a user experience and design perspective.

I have a Yale security lock and am going to order this and possibly return the Yale key.

Reasons: I like the idea of a fingerprint reader.

I love that, in a battery dead emergency, you can plug a bank in and get it back to working, without worrying about giving out the physical key.

I wish Kwikset would come out with this with Smart Key, as I'd love to be able to give out a physical key in an emergency, and use smart key to change it after, if need be.

Either way, this is powered by 4 AA batteries (not a rechargeable pack) and seems to do everything the Yale lock does (and more).

What's the difference between this and the one sold at costco?

https://www.costco.com/eufy-secur...03658.html

Recharge 10,000 Mah and no bridge?

This version comes with physical keys as well (5 are included.)
