Pretty much a steal at this price. Solid everything, great 1080p GPU and 3200 RAM right out of the gate means no need to buy a full kit (at least in the beginning). GG OP

Only negative I see is the chipset is just a re-spun B450. Thats not a bad thing just loses a couple features vs a true B550.

And I would also get a larger drive and 1 more 8gb stick of memory.

But very good overall system.

I can confirm it's a great deal compared to buying it directly from hp. The deal does seem too good to be true given the setup and Walmart does have a tendency to mislabel their computer specs on their website. Comparable setup directly from HP is $750 (TG01-1070m) which is a different model to this posting (TG01-2003w).

I'm seeing $734.96 as the price. Am I missing some trick to this deal?

ETA: Nevermind. It was defaulting to another non-Walmart seller for some reason.

Saw this review randomly last night of this system (not the exact same config) which is largely negative but admittedly is written from a very critical point of view. However it is worth noting some of the very valid criticisms:

1. Motherboard is not standard in anyway and front IO is directly mounted to the motherboard
2. Graphics card is a cheaper OEM solution
3. Lots of bloatware
4. Power supply is non-standard and has no ability to expand.
5. RAM is very cheap
6. Cooling solution and case are very cheap.

For this build it's a bad price. If you got on the $1050 deal back in late May or June for this same case but with R7 5700G + RTX 3060 + 16GB RAM + 512 PCIe SSD + 1TB HDD that was a great value, but now with this spec this isn't worth it at all. Motherboard, power supply in this case are all special built and unusable for anything else.

$769 if you build it yourself at HP.
$737.50 if you qualify for employee pricing.

Edit: this price is with the 1650 card.

If it's a "G" processor, why would they put a graphics card in it?

I was going to point this out as well but no personal experience. The last photo on the product page states it has the 5500 graphics card as well.

I don't think you are ready for gaming.
