As someone who owns this game on the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox Series X, I strongly suggest avoiding on the Switch. Horrible load times and terrible frames. Not trying to hate on the Switch version but it's the truth.

It's very bad. Do not buy this game for switch.

Other games have crossed over well like Skyrim and subnautica but not this one. I couldn't play it.

Looks like Walmart did a price drop on this and added it to their pool of $19.93 games, so that's probably why you may seem the same elsewhere.

Is this worth 20? Have they done any updates? I heard the graphic fidelity was distractingly bad.

I found this game slow on my Xbox One (not Series X), was curious how they were able to possibly release it on the Switch. Appreciate those chiming in to share thoughts. I did enjoy it and was curious if it would be a good game to have on the go.

Same deal with a lot of games on the Switch. Unless it was designed for the hardware or is very old (like 10+ years old) they usually run like crap.

Dead by daylight for example is another. Some maps are nearly unplayable. And it actually runs worse docked because the extra GPU clock speed boost cant keep up with the resolution increase when docked.

The OLED switch is nice and all, but honestly it was a bit underpowered when it came out in 2016 and now its badly needing an updated nvidia GPU/SoC.

Agree. This has been $19 since a couple weeks ago when I picked up the PS4 version for $15. Loving the game so far, if you liked fallout 4, this is that with better writing. But would buy on any other system, reviews on switch are rough

I know I'm in the minority here, but I played through the entire game on the Switch and loved it. Yeah, the graphics won't be as good as on other consoles. Textures are muddy. Still, I didn't notice any distracting frame rate drops. If the Switch is your main counsel, or you game on the go, I'd recommend taking the chance at $20. This game doesn't have the polish of Witcher 3 on Switch, nor is it an unplayable mess like ARK.

I'd agree. I haven't played all the way through, but they have updated it to fix and address most issues. If you take it for what it is, it's fun.

That's basically my attitude towards any cross-platform game at this point, but in all honesty most of the 3rd party games I got on Switch I already had for Steam and just wanted a portable version. Now my switch is basically just a first party Nintendo machine and that's not too bad either.
