this monitor is considered one of the best 1440p 165hz gaming monitor back in late 2020.

it uses the same lg panel as lg 27gl850 which was one of the top gaming monitors throughout last year.

as a graphic artist i mainly buy lg and dell (even though dell mainly use lg panels in their monitor) for their color accuracy and editing. they have yet to disappoint me. solid buy for anyone interested in gaming and productivity.
I have this monitor, have for a few months, and love it! The compactness of the stand is a big plus! Tempted to get another to replace my secondary which is a 24"
Paid $340.19 for this June 7, 2021. Think it was this same price, minus new customer discount.

Phenomenal monitor! I've also got a nearly identical LG 27GL850. Suppose to be the same panel, couple small tweaks. The Dell looks smoother playing the same FPS game side by side, both showing 1440p 144Hz.

Really wanted this monitor for a long time but decided to go for a cheaper option... but now I am leaning more towards this price range. This monitor and the buydig 27" LG 27GN880-B UltraGear QHD + xbox controller combo both come out to be $392 including taxes, and of course there's 5% back when paypal+discover is used for today and tomorrow (+5% back for me on my 1st year of discover cc).

Does anyone think it's worth losing an xbox controller and the ergo stand if I opt for this dell monitor instead? Or would it be better to wait longer for the price to go lower? Or rather go for Gigabyte M27Q for much lesser price?

I would just buy the M27Q. The LG and the Dell are essentially tied with each other, other than the superior stand the LG has, meanwhile the M27Q is superior with refresh rate and brightness compared to the LG (although response time at max refresh is slightly lower).

Thus, the M27Q is the best bang for the buck. For the price of the Dell/LG you'd be able to get a 32" if you want the real estate.

Not really into the 32" -- it's too big for gaming imo and looking at the reviews, 1440p on anything higher than 27" isn't sharp enough. I am currently 1080p on 22 inch monitor and the pixel density on 27" 1440p is even better... which is perfect for me.

Refresh rate on this dell and M27Q are similar and I absolutely love the KVM feature on M27Q which would work great for me. Between M27Q and LG/Dell how would the build and overall quality compare? It seems like the dell is pretty solid on build, brightness, contrast and overall quality.

Build quality is going to be better on the Dell and LG, but I still think the Gigabyte is the way to go. The Gigabyte is brighter than the Dell and LG.

FYI, I have the M27Q and it will not play Xbox series x games at 120fps at 1440p. It is capable of doing so on PC, but that fps/resolution combo doesn't work on Xbox series x. Microsoft has said something about a potential patch to fix this issue but I wouldn't hold my breath. Thinking about getting this Dell deal for use with my Xbox series x.

It's the same price from Dell a few days ago. Does dell still have that 10% off for first time customers that signup for emails?

My Honey chrome plug-in is offering me $26.59 in "honey gold" if I buy it from Dell.

I was trying to do the 10% email thing. I couldn't get it to work.

Dell just lowered the price to $359.99 as well (yesterday it was $379). I'll update the post. Looks like there is a Slick Deals plug in of 2.5% ($9) or the Honey $26, which is pretty nice!

This is the link to try to sign up. I didn't get any coupon.

I have M27Q and do 1440p@ 120hz on the xbox series x. You just need to upgrade the firmware on the monitor. Let me know if you need instructions.

I have the DELL 3222DGM, snagged it for $321 plus tax direct from Dell, comes with a 3 year warranty, pixel density could be better but I'm ok with 1440p on a 32 inch screen, looks incredible actually. For those interested Costco also has the LG 32GN50T-B for 299.99 which is a good deal IMO as well. I had the Dell 3220DGF (349.99 from Best Buy) and the LG 32GN650-B (basically same monitor as the 32GN50T) alongside the 3222DGM (I bought all 3 at the same time and compared side by side, I know, I'm crazy lol) and chose the 3222 based on brightness, refresh rate, black uniformity, and text clarity (I do lots of office work on the computer alongside some gaming, and even though rtings rated the text clarity as very similar on all 3 monitors, it was significantly sharper on the 3222) and for the price I am very happy with it. Just my 2 cents if anyone is looking for a 32" vs. a 27". I bet this IPS panel looks great though!

This generation of LG Nano IPS really suffers at black level and uniformity tho. If one see him/herself consuming or working on media with heavy content of those might want to go with another monitor.
