No its dotdot for atmos. The ear level channels and height channels are interchangable, but the subwooofer ones are not. So 7.2 is seven channels (either ear level or height) and 2 subwoofer channels (really its just 1 split..but its marketing to call it .2). So this receiver can do 5.2.2 or 7.2.0. it cannot support 5.1.4 or 7.1.4 (5.1.4 would require a 9.1 receiver, and 7.1.4 would be an 11.1 channel receiver...those exist..but not in this price range).

Damn. I bought my 750h 5 months ago. I cooooould return it. But that's kind of a dick move for a perfectly working item

That's not how it works. People act like they're suddenly entitled to some to something when they pay the tiny annual fee (are you really of the mindset that the pitiful $60 actually covers the loss here?). Do you also act like you can intentionally wreck your cars because you pay for insurance?

If his device had broken 5 months ago and he returned it, that's one thing. But, to go and return it because there's suddenly a different device? "Come on, man." It's literally the reason why they changed the unlimited return policy to 90 days for electronics, because people were grossly taking advantage of it.

Some people are reporting some cable issues. The correct answer is you should buy certified 2.1 cables. I used a quality 5+ year old cable and don't have any issue with my series X. There are so many junk cables on the market that makes this a complicated question.
Is the HDMI cable that comes with the XBox Series X not certified 2.1?

I don't think it is certified, but it is HDMI 2.1 compatible.

17" long x 11.5" wide x 6" height. Note you need probably at least 2-3in from the back and top if you extend the 2 wifi antennas too if you're putting into a sealed cabinet/media center

I picked one up in Ringgold, GA. They had 8 left where I grabbed one.

Does this receiver support using a phone app for setup? If so, anyone got a link to the iOS version?
Thanks!
The setup assistant is on screen on your tv directly. The mobile app HEOS setup is to setup audio streaming support and multi room control like alexa/google assistant

here i remeasured it with a tape measure for exact measurements

17.1x11.2x6 inch. Again note you probably want 13.3 for proper wifi antenna extension

I just bought an oled, so I need to update my Avr. My concern was making sure the wattage per channel is adequate for my setup. My current Yamaha does 90w per channel- is the 75w here sufficient for these speakers?

I'm guessing yes they will be fine, especially since I'm not cranking them up ever

Can the remote signal go through closed console doors? Just curious since I don't have a console for it yet and would prefer to keep the doors closed if possible.

Yes, you are fine, those Jamo speakers are rated 130W output, i.e. that is max that they can handle. This class of receivers is targeting speakers like yours.

More important information than power handling is the sensitivity of the speakers, how they are configured and how far you sit from them. That will dictate if 75W/CH is enough. Are you running just the two speakers in stereo? Are they configured as large or small+sub? Do you have more than just the two speakers or running more than just the two?

I would imagine so. Its not like they delete your purchase history when your membership expires.
