Not really as with this deal I can get 2 medium 1top for $10 v.s. $12. Toppings aren't worth $1 per medium pizza imo, esp since they usually just skimp more on toppings, the more you add.

This isn't as good as 50% off me u prices where you can get a 7-8topper for like $7-8 (my usual baseline for a good deal on pizza). But it is definitely better then the deal you mentioned. Esp since there hasn't been many 50% off menu price (or equivalent) for a loooooong time at the major pizza places
Where I am a medium 1 topping is $13, so this comes out to $13 for 2. Unless I'm not understanding something.

Dunno why this is so prevalent online. Verb vs. adjective - usually anyway. A person can lose an arrow after loosing it from the bow.
No, they would be losing it from the bow. Lose/losing is like lost, loose/loosing is like yo mama Wink. But yeah, they just being a dumb grammar Nazi

Yeah, ymmv based on local pricing, for sure. I live in a relatively big city and it's $10, if it's something even bigger, then that would possibly be even more. Might even be a lower price in some places. But for many/most people, this is a better deal.

Can't imagine $13 for a medium 1 topping pizza at a run of the mill chain place though 👀

I thought it was crazy too. I never buy anything at regular price at Domino's so maybe I was doing it wrong. Their pizzas are ok but nothing special, and only worth buying at discount. When you live in one of the two pizza capitals of the US, you get spoiled.

Not quite apples to apples math. The large are 3-topping vs 2-topping mediums. 36% bigger pie PLUS 50% more toppings for only 33% more. But I know what you're saying, we just usually do 4 combinations with 2 Large vs mediums and the extra $4 translates to having lunch for the next day.
Agreed, if your mission is to get three toppings; you'd have to pay extra (over and above the $5.99 price I used for the math). If you are like me though, you have to beg to get any toppings on pizzas just to get the full value of the deal :-) My one kid wants just cheese; it's an adventure to get him to eat any other topping!

When you compare the $5.99 medium 2-topping vs $7.99 large 3-topping deal the difference is less dramatic. You pay 33% more for a 36% bigger pie, the savings per square inch of pizza is 2.0%. One might be willing to pay the extra 2% for variety. I know in my house no one can agree on toppings. So 2 medium pizzas give us 4 combinations. Also it is easier to control the quantity of food you buy as in 2, 3, or 4 medium pizzas compared to 1 or 2 large pizza.

https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...ingle=true

Pie diameter Pie area Price Cost % bigger % cheaper
(inch) (sq-in) $ ($/sq-in)

12 113.1 $5.99 $0.053
14 153.9 $7.99 $0.052 36.1% 2.0%
Plus, 2 medium for 11.98 gets you 10pnts = $1 toward a free medium pizza. No points if all you buy is 1 large for 7.99.

Loosing and arrow = shooting an arrow. So to translate, your arrow might get lost after you shoot it.

I was unaware of the alternate definition for that word. Thank you. However, the original person clearly was not using that word in that manner.

Why does this post have 37 likes if everyone is saying the 2 for $5.99 each is a much better deal?

Loose is not used in that fashion all that frequently. Period films? "Nock! Draw! LOOSE! for archers. But a person can also loose dogs or stones. Always seems to be combat or similar. And ya, original did wrong.

Literally who?
Regional "take a bake" chain I personally believe only exist due to ability to accept government food vouchers (food stamps) based on "groceries" classification.

They charge very nearly full Domino's/PJ/PH prices for the "convience" of baking at home.

LIKE EVERY SINGLE PIZZA chain they uses Sysco food suppliers but unlike other chains the don't offer delivery of your raw pizza... likely because the delivery would be a service and not a grocery.

The logic of PM... beyond "it qualifies as groceries" argument... escapes me.

Tax is so high where I live if you add a side dipping cup you trigger over $10 point. For some generous reason they allow tax to count toward $10 minimum.

I'm going to bypass all the mathematics and pizza area calculations that are going on with this conversation and simply state that the coupon didn't work for me. Said it was only usable by the email address it was sent to when I got to the final step of ordering.
