Only downside is game collection is not so great.. and often they are very expensive. Their pro subscription at 10 bucks a month is not at all justifiable.
Definitely not worth for full time gamers. Casual gamers playing only a handful of games like me .. 60 bucks for a game and chromecast is well worth it.
In my experience it is neither slow nor laggy if you have reliable home internet.

and I'd like to also warn anyone against BG3, even free the game is a tedious mess. The characters are kinda great honestly, but then the rest of it... just such bad controls and camera and combat. To buy it for 60 dollars right now is ridiculous, what's available to play is only the first act.
But definitely test it out by playing one of the free games or demos before buying anything. if you have a stable >35mbps you shouldnt see any issues.
