Also, you can buy pretty much anything with trade-in credit at Gamestop except prepaid credit cards and amazon gift cards. I also don't think you can buy iTunes and Google Play cards with trade in credit but I could be mistaken with those two.
I didnt trade in my pro last week at 275 because it's the star wars edition and I have the full box, all the manuals, and it's barely been played. But for $325 I might as well bite. I'll probably keep my star wars controller through and trade in a different (but newer) dualshock 4. I don't think they care about it matching.

Have a nearly like new Death Stranding PS4 Pro,w box, controller that's never been used, all accessories, box in excellent condition. I've had it listed locally for $350 and haven't gotten a single bite. Kinda surprised about it TBH. Seems like very good to excellent ones with the controller go for $350-400 on eBay, so after fees and shipping will probably only net ~$300. The guy saying they can be sold for $500 is ignorant AF.
I think I'm just gonna trade it in with a simple black controller and either hold on to the orange controller as a collector's item or sell on eBay for ~$150.
Prly will use the trade credit to buy Steam gift cards to cover a good portion of my Steamdeck preorder set for early next year.
The only problem is finding a next gen console. Microsoft already said there will be low supply on the series X well into 2022. I expect the same for the ps5.
