Main issue is you might have to download the PS4 version on your ps5 and then upload the save AGAIN, before removing the PS4 version to download the PS5 version and sync the save. Each game works different. Plan for it to be a pain. Save the disc in case you need to launch the game once to upload the save.
They also allow you to return USED games for up to 30 days (may vary by state). This makes new games, while expensive to buy, free to "rent".
