Facebook market or ebay are great theoreticals but anyone who sells on those will tell you its not "spend 5 minutes, get item sold". You have to post something. Then wade through dozens of trolls and idiots who offer you 50% of what you ask for, or ask to trade for weed, or are trying to scam you. Deal with the one or two morons who promise to meet you and don't show up because they didn't wake up. Then the always lurking threat of scammers. If you don't sell much then you are going to attract a lot fewer buyers since you have no history.
Walking into a gamestop and walking out with trade credit 20 minutes later is a lot simpler. Prices also vary wildly by market, around me PS4 Pros sell for $300-350 so GS offering $325 is practically a doorbuster.
I traded mine in no problem, I already have a PS5 so keeping a PS4 around made no real sense anymore. Accessories also get a trade boost for now, traded in all the extra controllers and stuff I had laying around. Picked up Lost Judgment while I was there, preordered Far Cry 6, and I'll probably end up buying a few games with my credit over the next year.
