Or use your Amazon Store Card for 5% back without limit... if you have Prime.

Seems like a good deal on the C1... I bought a CX from Costco not too long ago though.

Hi guys,
What are the benefits of buying from Costco vs Bestbuy, Target, Amazon etc...?

The nearest Costco for me is 1 hr drive.

Thank you!

I think the benefits of costco is the hastle free return and warranty. 2 years + 3 allstate + 2 from citi if you use the credit card. There is always a feeling of trust when working with costco that if something happens within reason they will take care of you.

Best buy will price match anything. And if you go negotiate and buy their extended warranty some have reported good discounts.

Target would be equivalent of amazon. Normal retailer with good price. Not great warranty support.

It's starting to get warm. I'd think 2799 is just around the corner and 2699 is doable and next year during clearance 2599 haha Smilie

$2749 is already available on GT. That is equivalent to $25xx pre tax.

This was just on sale at BuyDig and came with a 200 dollar credit, which basically brought it down to around this price, but it also has a 4 year extended warranty.

That deal will most likely repeat in the future. Looks like either the inventory supply is getting better or manufacturers and retailers are discounting early for a reason - probably to capture sales early before Black Friday.

Warranty, Return Period, Customer Service doesn't interrogate you for your reason for return plus you can do your grocery shopping there

Sure seems like it. Interestingly international shipping costs are still absolutely through the roof right now. Our logistics guy at work said current rate for a container shipment is still $20k, if you can find one - was about $3k in the before times.

So with most things going up in price to cover increased costs, it's really strange to see OLEDs finally coming down. I guessing LGs new panel factories have finally come online. If that's the case, when shipping costs come back to earth, I'm wondering how low these start getting…

I think a lot of people are putting too much stock into any sort of warranty stores are including to try and move these TVs at the current price. These new OLED TVs are very resilient, they don't experience "burn in" and I could only imagine that any issues you'd have would be manufacturer defects you'd catch once the TV is set up.

Currently owning 2 LG 4K OLEDs, 3+ years old, I have no issues with either that are used daily for minimum of 1 hour screen on time and an LG LED that's 7+ years old going strong.

Your experience is not automatically everyone's experience. LG sells millions of these, and each one has 8 million pixels. Peace of mind on a $3,000 purchase is a reasonable expectation.

The Sony is a much better TV if you care about picture quality.

Bestbuy I terrible with price match. They are just OK with warranty. One exchange then warranty is void.
