10-12 year old HDMI cables would be like hdmi 1.3. The LG OLED B7 has hdmi 2.0. You won't be getting Dolby vision from a 4K player with 10-12 year old HDMI. You won't get upgraded audio like Dolby Atmos. If you have an OLED and 10-12 year old cables…YES! Absolutely get new HDMI. It's a $10 investment that could make difference between you using the features your tv offers or not having access to them. Since you have 10-12 year old hdmi, I'm assuming you don't have speakers in your ceiling for Atmos. But, you very well might use a 4K player or a new gaming console. You won't be able to get even Dolby Vision with 10-12 year old hdmi if you are playing on even an Xbox One S (older generation of Xbox). Now, what are you waiting for? You spent $2000 on an OLED. Shell out the extra $10, Homey.

I was curious about my LG TV (OLED65CXPUA) and found this:

All of LG's 2019 and 2020 OLED models include the latest version of the HDMI standard: 2.1. That means their HDMI ports can handle 4K at 120fps, support enhanced audio return channel (eARC) as well as two gamer-friendly extras: variable refresh rate (VRR) and automatic low latency mode (ALLM, or auto game mode).

Like others I ordered on Saturday and package still hasn't been picked up by FedEx. This kinda sucks. My new TV (LG C1) arrives tomorrow. Would have been nice to set it up immediately. Oh well. I have older cables. Guess I'll wait till next week to finish the final setup.

Edit - got the tracking number Monday itself.

I think mostly everyone got the tracking number pretty soon. Those who ordered on Saturday got the tracking number Monday itself. But the package status is still 'Packed' and not 'Shipped'. FedEx tracking still says package hasn't been picked up and so there is no ETA for the delivery.

Good for those who got this order soon.

I bought a few weeks ago, an email notice about some promo, similar price at the end, 40% sale. they shipped slower than Amazon, maybe a few days delay, but received and everything works as advertised. been their customer for almost a decade

I ordered these cables over a month ago and they hadn't shipped for over 3 weeks! Cancelled my order and got them from ebay monoprice.
Then I found out that these cables aren't that really good even though Certified. The 3 ft would flicker. Swapped to 6 ft and fixed the issue. Returned all these and got Cables Matter or Kabeldirekt brand.

I'll give these a try, Monoprice is reputable and has been around for years.

I can't say that for so much of the vendors on Amazon so many false claims and false reviews its not fair to those who play fair it just takes a bit of research to weed out the fakes, seems like the bad actors get shut down and slap a different label and reemerge on Amazon back to their old ways.
