Mint is cheaper
Mint currently costs $45 for 4GB/month (3months). This is $30 for 12GB/month (3months)

How is mint cheaper?

Must activate by 11/15/21
@Red-PocketD Does the activation date apply to all plans under this promo or just the 50GB/$50 plan? I don't see that date mentioned in any of the other plan details. In the past the activation timeframe was 90 days. TIA.

My take after looking at their website: it's an attempt by RedPocket to try to capture the Mint market with shorter-term deals to get people into the service, instead of the bargain 12-month plans that RP sells through ebay. Even the green fonts on the Unreal page make it look like Mint. The greater value I think is to have availability of ATT towers, which in my town has great coverage, whereas TMO has dead spots. They have a competitive $25/12GB yearly plan that is close to the 8GB/$18 plan I have on RP through ebay, and I'd hope that Unreal doesn't add on sales tax, as ebay does. Their cheapest yearly plan seems to be $10/2GB, which might be a good option for those who mostly use wifi at home. With Simple/Total/Net10 being bought out by Verizon, it looks like there will be a lot of consolidation going on, but I've been satisfied with RP for several years, since they've improved service and kept the yearly price under $20 for renewals while increasing data for my plan to 8GB, which is much better than any ATT MVNO or prepaid I've found.

I advise against using any MVNO. I've used a few and have never had any where near a positive experience. The speeds are always terrible, customer service is either terrible and aren't able to help resolve a simple issue or it's non existent. Use an actual carriers pre-paid plan, the price is practically the same and the coverage, speeds, and customer service is always 10x better.
Can you show me a plan from a prepaid carrier where I can get at least 1GB data talk and text for less than $10. Only tello comes to mind but that's an mvno

Their service is horrible.. you have to use app to make and receive calls.. i just ported out after 3 days of having their service
I'm on unreal right now, I didn't install any apps to make calls. Not sure what you are talking about.

that said, porting took 3 days, first level tech just redirect calls and escalates everything. sure 12gb is nice, but I'm getting speed drops and can't go faster than 3 MB/s , my previous provider gets 250mb/s.

Redpocket ATT plan is $30 for unlimited talk text and 20 GB data. Best plan out there. Excellent coverage.

They got 2 versions of sim cards.. standard and premium.. I am not sure from this deal, sim falls under which category.

in order to use standard sim, you have to go with the app to make and receive calls.

How can you trust a carrier who calls itself "unreal"?
