I actually just filed a warranty claim on the clock, after about 11 months one of the LED's on the display died. It makes the number 9 show as a 3. I'm fighting with their customer service to get it fixed. Have spent over an hour on the phone with them over this stupid clock.
FYI, since Walmart's app update, they have removed the in store scanning function on clearance pricing; however, if you use Walmart + it will still scan the clearance price in store. Sneaky and dirty way to push people to +, but if you are a clearance hound, it is what it is.
I picked up 2 of these clocks a couple of weeks ago for $13 each and they work well. My 6yr old likes asking for joke when getting ready for bed and it plays songs she likes to wake her up.
Did you take off the protective screen cover off? The screen cover will make the microphone barely useful. The microphone has worked 20+ feet away when tested it without the protective screen cover.
Werd. My wife says ""'hey google" in my daughter's bedroom and the mics from the one in our bedroom picks up her voice. They are really sensitive.
Was anybody able to add the smart bulb to SmartThings? I was able to set it up easily with the Lenovo app and then add it to Google Home but I've been unable to find it with Smartthings. In fact Smartthings doesn't even list Lenovo as a compatible company to search for but I thought I'd try.

Their new app update is a massive PITA.
The search box autocompletes with terms and then says there's nothing available

The locations aren't noted as clearly
Walmart Pay isn't as functional
It all... sucks
The only reason I use it is to keep receipts, I might just do it manually later
Yeah what is up with all that?! Did it force an update recently? I usually don't update an app unless I'm having trouble with it or know of a new feature an update has that I want. Everything I scan in the store for a price says it's not sold at that store. That's if it even scans. I even have trouble scanning my receipts to save. I'd look for a version of the old app to revert to but won't if it's just going to force an update.
I only bought this clock to replace a 20 year old alarm clock that started changing to daylight savings and back a week or two early every year. My thoughts:
-super bright at night. I had to buy red lens film (designed for brake lights) to cover the screen.
- I keep the mic muted. No snooping Google
- don't use it as an alarm clock.
Basically... All I wanted was something that kept the time right and showed me what the temp is...
Google has your full profile downloaded already so an extra mb of data isn't going to change anything

Old version won't help. I purposefully did not update my Walmart app after hearing the reports about price scanning being dropped. The old version continued to work for about a week. Now as soon as you open the app it says in the app itself "you need to update to the new version" and I can't find any way past it. (This is on Android, not sure about iOS.)
On Sunday (10/03) I went to stores in Maryland: Catonsville and Ellicott City. Both showed 6+ in stock per BS but none were there in Clearance or Electronics shelves.
Today I went to Columbia, MD and none were there. Finally found two in Sykesville MD store in the locked display and I bought them. When I asked the associate to scan the price, it rang up as $29.99 when he used the handheld phone scanner he had. But it rung up as $17 at the register!
can someone upload picture of the box? I went to 2 store where it said 6+ in stock but both didn't have any. They only had bunch of the clock without light bulb. It was $29.99. Honestly, I want to buy the clock for $17 since I don't want the light bulb. Anyways

Same here the clock screen is messed up and it can't stay connected to my wifi. Lenovo's support is a joke.

This is what they look like....from someone selling them on ebay...
Anybody have these bulbs and what do you use them for?
I thought that too as I only wanted the clock however I put it in the lamp on the desk with the clock and after setting it up with google home I control it as well. Even change colors. It's fun

Also you have to download like 3 apps to get everything to work, I would avoid it.
