There is no "$5 'Welcome' GameStop Rewards Certificate (one-time signup bonus)" anymore. That ended on 10/1 and was replaced with the 10k points.
The 10k points will take up to 72 hours to post to your account. It usually takes only a day.
Your $5 monthly coupons will be under "Active Offers" on the 1st of every month - you do not get a coupon during the first month. The coupon can be used for almost anything in-store including digital currency (PSN, Xbox, eShop currency), but not online for digital items.

As others have also mentioned, the $5 monthly rewards can't stack because they expire, and they also cannot be used to preorder something, they have to be used on something currently in stock. Which is a negative to me, easiest way to make sure the rewards don't get wasted in a month where I might not want anything is to just preorder something that I know I want in the future. I hear PSN cards don't come in anything less than $10, so if you're mainly a PlayStation gamer you can't just get your monthly $5 in PSN credit either unless you add cash to it.
Small print terms about the PowerUp Pro says you can request to cancel/refund your membership within 7 days. I may do that as I am disappointed already. (Oh, also the previous game I bought online had a release date of Friday Sep 24th and I received it Weds the 29th. For a business that caters to gamers, they should know it's not fun to be 5 days behind everyone else who starts playing a game on release day. The package didn't even start moving until Monday after release.)
So I'll be wasting my Monday morning getting on their live chat that is only available on weekdays to ask where all these rewards are. If that doesn't get sorted immediately, I'll be inquiring about the terms of refunding my membership, and if they mess around with that, I'll contact my credit card about the $15 charge I used to join. I recently got a PS5 and figured I'll be buying more physical games because of that and that this would be worth doing, but I'm already frustrated with GS service.
It tends to not let me use the credit on nintendo e-cards most of the time, sometimes yes, but I do it in-store every month without issue applied to the $10 e-card.

Technically we should get the October $5 cert but that would be October 2022.

I went in on Sept 29 to trade in my PS4 Pro, expecting $275 at the time. i signed up for Pro just 30 minutes before driving to the store. The clerk and I were both surprised when the console rang up for $325 but I wasn't complaining.
I did get rewards points, but I'm confused what each transaction relates to:
+250 Activation 09/29/2021
+6500 Sales Transaction 09/29/2021
0 Member Updated 09/29/2021
+7500 Member Enrolled 09/29/2021
+300 Member Enrolled 09/29/2021
0 Sales Transaction 09/29/2021
By my math that's 14550. What are each of these separated things? What was the "sales transaction?"
The only thing I think I've figured out is 300 for spending $15 on the membership (20 points per dollar x 15 = 300)?
Ah - I suppose that you get extra points for trading in? $325 x 20 = 6500?
That leaves 7500 + 250 which is not 10,000. Am I missing something?
This is separate from the $5 monthly reward, which does very very clearly say in-store only and expires 10/31.
In-Store only reward
*PUR Pro Only - October - $5 Pro Certificate - Get $5 Off 1 Item - V3
Expires on 10/31/2021
I'm totally new to Gamestop points and rewards. Do I have to redeem the points into a particular reward certificate in order to use them? Can I get multiples of the same denomination reward certificate, or do I have to use the reward certificate first before I can get another reward certificate of the same denomination?

If not, no biggie, I'm happy to spend $5 for a $10 card but figured I would ask. I've had a PS4 for a few years but never pulled the trigger on this deal. Excited about the few bucks savings!
