My paid Sam's Club membership expired in 2018, but this offer disappears if I try to sign up using my old name, address or email. Apparently this is literally only for new members, with a very strict definition of the term "new member." But nice find! Thanks and repped anyway. Please post if there's a workaround (aside from moving to a new house).

I'm still waiting for my $45 E-gift card & it's been more than a month. Called CS & let them know I haven't received it, the Rep said within two business was days & it's been more than a week now. Good luck in fighting with CS to get the gift card & I was registered as a new member as well.

We usually alternate renewals at sams club between me and my spouse every year so we can always take advantage of the offers. You can still make the other person the secondary member.

I'm one who usually scoffs at people saying they don't get their gift cards or rebate or whatever it may be. I can say that I finally got burnt and it was through this exact same offer from last year. I would honestly skip this deal.

My wife signed up for the same ValPak offer in-store 7 months ago. They gave a gift card at the counter itself during sign up. Perhaps that's the better way to go than to sign up online, and then hope the egiftcard arrives. I'm sure it's not fun wading through customer service calls if it doesn't come through. At least at the store, if there is a problem with eligibility, you'll know right then.

Another tip - I was having problems saving the gift card on my Sam's Club account. So I immediately loaded it on my Walmart account. That way I was not worried about losing the physical card. I was still able to use the card at Sam's Club by punching in the gift card number during checkout.

Try going in to the warehouse. I actually did that because I was fed up with waiting, then the $45 e-gift card showed up the next day. So I got $90

I've used different emails and different family members or friends. I'm on my third Sams account lol

Or have them delete your old account completely and that should help.

Did this type of deal 2 years and never got the gift cards. Had to call over and over again. First I got emails with codes that showed invalid when I tried using them in store. Was told I would get physical cards and never did. Customer service manager at the store also refused to issue the gift cards. Ended up cancelling the membership on the last day after a year and got a refund for the membership so it worked out in the end. Would recommend cancelling saying you weren't satisfied and getting the membership cost refunded if you never get the GCs.

A previous version of this offer worked for me.

Please note that the eGift card comes from 'thegiftcardshop.com' and states 'Joe sent you a Sam's club gift card'. I almost did not open the email, since this looked a spam email. However, on doing further research, found it to be authentic.

I use Sams almost as much as Costco. Sams has good products, and as long as you don't get to interact with their associates, I find it a good store to buy things from. Best of Luck

I had old membership from Sams that expired a year back, but I called their membership desk. They saw the account, and since it was more than 6 months, they said i can be eligible for new member offers. They wiped their system clean of my old record completely to allow me to take advantage of any new member offer. I would recommend you to try the same.
