Chicory root was used to make coffee supplies last longer. For Cafe Du Monde, I'm a fan. When other brands serve it, I'm not impressed and a little annoyed.

This stuff is served with hot whole milk to cut it. I'm a black coffee kind of guy, but prefer 100% Columbian unless I have th beignets.

This coffee is available locally at ~$7 per can. It was probably around 20 years ago when it was $5 a can. We drink 2-3 cans of this per year as we also have k-cup and capsules for making coffee. Just ordered 4 cans for the next 12 months.

They put Chicory root in a lot of diet products, and gives me IBS and extreme stomach cramps.

Make sure to buy a 12 pack of TP with this ...

Best price I've seen in some time. This is the real deal, 1 can in a toddy cold brew 48-72 hours and have iced coffees for a week. Hasn't been under $5/can at any local store since the 1990s. Also these are 15oz cans, not 11-12oz like most other brands
