The X81CH for $50 less at Costco is a better deal.

Still a good TV for this price/size. Got the predecessor which is very similar, does a really good job in a bright living room.

How does this compare to my X90CH? Is it a "notch lower" on their product spectrum I think? I got mine last Black Fri for $1569 so if this is not a notch lower, then prices have really improved in a year!

I've been looking for a TV around this price point for the longest time, I think RTings has ruined me. I never want to pull the trigger.

Same. Passed on so many deal priced TV's just because they scored poorly. I understand a budget TV will get low scores and all, but still.

Haha yeah I did the same. Was rocking a 2007-era Samsung DLP 61" and for several years kept watching and waiting for the "right deal" and obsessing over the right mix of RTINGs and price. Finally just decided last year that life is too short so I bought the X90CH 75" at Costco on BF pricing. Really nice, bright picture, even though I think it still may have some firmware issues in delivering the promised 4K@120hz but I don't think it has affected my kids' PS5 or Xbox playing

Is the Costco version a comparable model? I think this runs on Google tv not sure if the Costco version runs on the new google tv. Also this one has an ATSC 3.0 tuner whereas the Costco version doesn't I believe.

This is much worse because it doesn't have an VA panel so contrast is very low

I'm another victim of RTINGS.com. Never go to that site or you will never be able to buy a TV.

One more for a Rtings.com slave. Honestly, I go into these stores and all the TVs are 10x better than the 2014 Element I'm rocking, but I still am holding out for the 'right deal'. In the long run, who gives a shit. Midas whale pull the trigger.

I had the same Samsung DLP in 67in size.... was the best TV I ever owned until an OLED. Oddly 15 years ago I paid like $2,800 for it... bought my OLED for $1,800 two years ago... TV prices are indeed way cheaper.
