I've been using a pair of these for like 2 years with zero issues like that, and I run Icue in the background all the time.

i'm not that lucky, sadly. i used to be ok, but then they did an update, and I kept getting BSOD's. It's a known problem, but didnt seem like one they cared to fix kinda like the microphone issue it STILL has.

Have had the yellow one from just before the pandemic. The simulated surround ain't that bad. Would like to find some good Earpads replacements, looks like pleats of cheap ones with bad reviews.

I have not had this issue.

I've been generally happy with these: decent surround sound for gaming and I can wear them for several hours comfortably.

My only gripe is iCUE itself needing to be re-opened occasionally when it doesn't sync my settings on startup. Seemed to happen after an iCUE update.

Regardless, I think this is a good price for these.

Regardless, I think this is a good price for these.

again, I wish I was that lucky. I might re-install it again just to see if its fixed now. considering they never fixed the mic after years I'm not hopeful.

I have a pair of these and I wouldn't buy them again. Too many issues with the software causing the headset to not function properly. The mute button frequently stops working as it's supposed to (can't mute or sometimes can't unmute), surround sound feature won't turn on, charging is hit or miss and sometimes dies as soon as I unplug it after hours of charging...

Had one and it was just one giant glitchy mess with the software. Sounded way worse than my old HyperX as well. Returned it within a week or two. Given these are refurbs, I would be even more wary.

I've had issues in the past with Cosair refurbs from Amazon. One time the left speaker didn't work at all out of the box. The other, volume was uneven after a week.
