I have not purchased these jackets before, but have purchased socks, boxers, shirts, shorts. Overall, I actually really like their stuff - super comfy and inexpensive, but it is definitely NOT durable.
If you look at all the photos, there is actually a good comparison listed!
Basically:
Down = warmer and more durable but more expensive
Poly = cheaper, faster drying when wet and it's hypoallergenic
I prefer down as the poly makes me sweat since it's a synthetic, the down seems to breath better even though it's warmer
Poly is typically heavier from down for same level of warmth. There is really no other difference. I have both from this company. They are great deals for any of the item. They compare with other popular brands that are 4 to 8 times the cost.

May someone give a pro vs con breakdown on the poly vs down?

Agreed! Their shorts and boxers are the most comfortable I've ever worn, but definitely don't last a lifetime either. Luckily the boxers are on sale pretty often
Does anyone know if the mens poly and down jackets pack to the same size? Looking for whichever takes up less room. I'll go down if they're similar packability

The packability is also similar to warmth. Down would pack slightly better, but they are really close.

It works well for me and especially for the price I'm very happy
It's my go to for airport / plane travel cause of the packable nature
