Deal HistoryÂ

I own this light and think it's absolutely fantastic. So good that it made me consider the M18 deal, but I struggle to come up with a use case where the M18 would be significantly better.
I'm painting the basement now and using it to apply light to the ceiling while I apply paint/primer. It will run on a single 6.0 battery for an entire session (several hours - my arms gave out before it did). It puts out a fairly significant amount of light and the overall structure is stable and incredibly versatile. The fact that this will also run on AC power adds to the versatility.
I've used this for all sorts of things - Cleaning off the boat in a dark driveway, as an under-hood light for automotive work, for countless home DIY projects, paint correction on cars etc.
These things are awesome.

Why are we switching store locations for this? The deal has been the M12 rocket light and 6.0ah starter pack for $199 for the past two+ weeks. You're not saving anything by switching locations

How does this work? I pay for both items and don't pick up the one I want, will they refund the difference??
Check out the repost link, but essentially you need to do the following:
1. On the product page for the batteries, click on "Add free gift"
2. Choose the M12 Rocket light so you now have two items in your cart
3. While in your cart choose a store nearby to pickup the item you want, i.e. the M12 Rocket light (to accomplish this your nearby store needs to have the item in stock)
4. While in your cart choose to ship to you the item that you don't want to your home address
5. Place the order
6. Immediately go back into your account, pull up your order and cancel the item that you don't want that was going to be shipped to you (you only have 45 minutes to do this after placing your order so the advice is to cancel the item you don't want right away).
7. Your final price will be $91.39 + tax for just the rocket light. The tax will be for the $200 total order.
This "hack" can be done continally for all milwaukee products when a "free gift" is part of the sale deal on the HD website.
FYI, you can sweeten the pot even more by adding five carpenter pencils to your cart to bring your total order to just over $200. Then insert a promo code for a $20 off $200 HD coupon that you purchase from the usual sites (just google this) and reduce the overall cost of the M12 rocket light even more. I did this and got the Rocket light plus pencils for $97.98 after tax after purchasing and using a $20 off $200 coupon.
