While I agree, the camera is wireless and battery operated, so cutting the wire would just kill the battery charge. Unless I am mistaken...

Bought one the first day it was available and already installed. I have a half dozen of the old models (base and IQ) and have been impressed with this unit so far!

Do you have nest aware? I've looked at my older cameras through the Home app and there's no ability to scrub through the video that I can see. Only their predefined snippets. If I can scrub through my recordings with the new cameras then I'll buy them. But I simply can't justify it if these recordings are no easier to use than Wyze events.

Yes, I have the Nest Aware sub. I can view history for the floodlight cam in the Home app similarly to the way I view history in the Nest app (scrolling through a time bar...not just event snips).

I still cannot view history in the Home app for the older cams; it feels like they ported the time scrolling ability from Nest to Home only for new cam. Maybe I'm missing something?
