Great price for a drive that meets the PS5 spec and an included heatsink. Amazon combined all the review together for this drive and others for TeamGroup. So if you see any mentioning not for PS5 verify the 'style' identified in the review. This drives style is called 'Admirable'.

"Please note that this product comes with two heat sinks. One is a Graphene heat sink (with 3.7mm height) that could be fit in the PS5 SSD slot. Another one is an Aluminum heat sink (with 12.9mm height) that could install in the PS5 SSD slot without the slot's lid."

Yes. These are made for PC, but also work on the PS5. Modern consoles are just a PC running a locked down operating system, anyways. I'd make sure your motherboard supports PCI-E gen 4, otherwise it's a waste of money. Also, you won't notice any difference in gaming vs a cheaper drive until Microsoft releases Direct Storage and games start being developed around it.

Watching as well. The 2tb is $300 in the admirable If someone can update the title. I wouldn't go in for less than 2tb at this point. I gave a 5tb USB for PS4 and it's full up

$300 for 2TB seems pretty legit! I've been looking for 2TB for my PS5 and this is about $50 less than any I've been able to find.

Sort by 1 star review newest first. There's someone that left a screenshot of their PS5 saying it's not compatible.

Others say it does. I think I'll bite and give it a try.

if you put the metal cover back when the SSD has a heatsink, it negates the purpose of the heatsink since you need air passing through the fins
On the contrary, there is a thing as a passive heatsink. There will be gains to be had (thought they might be minimal) due to the extra surface area regardless of convection.
