soon prime will be like "you can pick up at a hub for free"
and there will be like "prime plus" which allows you ground delivery for some price way more than what you currently pay and limits you to like 100 deliveries a year
and then there will be "prime platinum" where a drone will deliver to you within 2 days for some ridiculous price
and then there will be like "Super prime platinum" where a drone will deliver to you within 2 hours
and "super prime platinum discount" where the drone delivers only between 10pm and 6am.
...you get the idea...and you see where it's going
( BTW : I do NOT have a difficult place to deliver to. FedEx gets packages to the front door of my apartment, fer cryin' out loud. Amazon's ding dongs don't know the difference between east & west. )
Amazon warehouse is 8 miles from me and last spring they decided to send all packages via USPS. The Amazon delivery vans instead of dropping off packages like in past drove right by my neighborhood on the way to post office. New post master decided not to deliver amazon packages and forced everyone to stand in line at post office for hours to pickup packages.
Takes an extra 5 minutes to go to hub plus I do not have to deal with DeJoy plant at post office.
