i haven't found a fee of $1.40ish, but i wasn't used to Gruv's practice of charging sales tax on the full amount, with the 20% discount only applied after (when usually, sales tax is only applied to the final amount after discounts) - for example: if the full amount is $22.00, Gruv charges sales tax on $22.00 (my sales tax is 8.75%, so that would add $1.93 in tax), then deducts the 20% discount of $4.40 (a grand total of $19.53); usually, sales tax would only be charged on the discounted amount of $17.60 ($22.00 - $4.40) (in my case, tax would then be $1.54, for a grand total of $19.14 - a difference of 39 cents)).

It's actually around $19 something as there is a fee of around $1.40ish. Can't remember if it's just tax or a processing fee but I couldn't find any way around it. The code worked though

I ask this every time a Gruv deal is posted, and I've never gotten a reply.

It's hit or miss. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

My guess is if it is a newer release like The Thing then chances are it will have a slipcover. Movies that have been out on the format for a while are a lot less likely to have a slipcover.

How much better do you think these 4K deals will get on Black Friday? This seems pretty good at less than $9 a movie. This is the first year I've been into 4K stuff so I was just curious about what you guys have seen in the past on BF. Thank you.

In my 1 experience with Gruv, my discs were packaged very poorly. I may give them one more try...

Wouldn't 20% off $23.93 be $4.79?
