I searched for LP40 and came up with several links and it appears to be true.

I had the original version, they clearly changed the tips, original had paper grill that would fall out and the pro like shape was too wide. Was kinda beta product buggy, maybe it's fixed, your gamble. Scarbir recommendations and Kenneth tanaka and such recommend more known and tested alternatives for just a few dollars more.
