Platinum is supposed to be a premium credit card - has one of the highest annual fees of any CC, and they add a Walmart benefit? I think Amex is confused and really diluting the brand and product

The new Soulcycle benefit that was also added is completely worthless

They diluted their AMEX Deals too. It used to be only a few but they were all very decent. Now its full of junk from tiny retailers that i've never heard of and takes forever to filter through the garbage.

I admit, i will probably use this Walmart deal but i dont thiink the typical AMEX Plat card holder would ever step foot insiide a walmart.

I hope AMEX dont continue going down the shitter.

Wow, talk about out of touch! I know a handful or Platinum card holders (myself included), and none of them would have any qualms with shopping at Walmart.

Amex premium cards = glorified coupon books now.

I had the Amex Plat back when it was $450.

Anyone find a way to double dip yet? Like cash back portal or some other offer?

Amex knows who holds the cards, and what they're buying. You may have to put your ego to the side on this one?

I can't get my local walmart to deliver to me (which is dumb, because it's only 3 miles away). I did take advantage of a big W+ promo though and have the membership. Many things are cheaper to get shipped from WM+ than amazon prime.

Plus, I'm not sure, but I never hear anything about WM employees having to pee in a bottle.

Is Walmart+ similar to amazon prime delivery?

I've been thinking about subscribing to Walmart+ delivery, but I don't know much about it: tip or not tip, does it deliver to NYC...

Any cons on Walmart+ before I spend $99 on it?

I couldn't find the answer to this Question in their FAQ... does anyone know if a Walmart+ membership allows me to share the perk with members of my household?

Thanks!

My Walmart is still having a problem with getting delivery drivers. I'm not sure which company they have contracted with for delivery in my area, but the delivery radius from the stores are still small. I joined when it was first available, and on my 4th month, they cancelled my W+ membership and gave me a prorated refund. Still not available in my area.

I rarely shop at Walmart. If I do I have a plan to get in and get out quickly. The link in the OP is taking me to an Walmart error page. Can I just sign up regularly and as long as it charged to my platinum it'll earn the credit?

Also the useless entertainment credits. I really think they're just intentionally driving customers away. Maybe it's their way of keeping it 'premium'.

If you shop enough at Walmart or offers through Slick Deals, it's worthwhile as there is no minimum.
Walmart, imo, offers more brands and choices compared to other grocery stores and at very attractive prices.
