Just picked one up to go with the Garmin Varia i recently purchased. I wasn't too crazy about mounting my $1200 phone on my bike and leaving the screen on for long periods of time.

Shipping was free and no taxes. This may be the cheapest it's ever been!

You're welcome! Good choice on getting a bike computer. I previously was using my phone with a quad lock mount, but the battery was draining fast when using it with Strava. Having a bike computer + Varia radar is a good combo. Happy riding!

I am using my Garmin Instinct Solar to track bike rides - does a great job, and battery lasts like 35 days!!.

It's got less features in the software too. But if you are just looking for the standard use features, this is all a typical casual cyclist needs. These also include ability to pair a power meter, which is something often missing from previous cheap garmin units and watches. I really like the simple and very clear display on this version versus the color displays.

Bought this on Amazon when it was the same price a few weeks ago

So far so good. Notifications work surprisingly well, even things like Slack work.

Maps are a little small but functional. Like the option to set a random ride in the app and it pushes it to the device.

Also has live tracking for rides including emergency alert on a crash.
