You don't get 5% off target gift card purchases by paying with red card. You do get 5% off third party gift cards by paying with red card. NEVER pay for a target gift card with a red card. Note you can not use target gift cards to purchase target gift cards (rolling) or third party gift cards.

Just beat me to posting this. Nice that Target is doing this offer prior to the annual December one-day sale.

Plus using Apple Card via Apple Pay = extra 2% cb since RedCard isn't required to be the payment method. In addition, you'll get 1% cb via Target Circle earnings when using the gift card(s) to make a purchase as long as you're not using a RedCard to pay any remaining balance.

Thanks, was about to post it. I mentioned it in the 10% off electronic item thread as a possibly decent way to get a deal on electronic item by purchasing a gift card at a discount then using it to by electronic item for 10% off using target circle offer

Target in nyc prices are ridiculous. They also have been redlining higher store prices vs online when you put in your local store zip code even when the order is for delivery. Did they ever fix that?
