If I were you, I would wait to apply for the RedCard until Target offers a $40 off $40 or $50 off $50 coupon for approved applications. This 10% off deal will likely come around again in December, so if you can hold off, it may be advantageous.

Also know that target had this deal going on if I apply for red card, they send $50 off $50+ purchases. I still have it handy. Does anyone know if I can use the coupon for this deal?
