The way this works is bent heavily in your favor: it determines the $50 minimum before any other coupons or $5-off-5-type promos, and it stacks fully with all other offers. Basically, if you bought 25 $2 items that were $1 off each with purchase of 5 or more, it would make the total cost $10 (25 x 2 – 25 – 15 = 10). If you also had a $5 off $50 coupon, it would be $5. If there is an urlhasbeenblocked rebate for $0.25, they will literally pay you to take their food.
It gets maximum impact when you buy items with a high coupon-to-price ratio, such as the example above. Note that regular sale prices that don't require a coupon or other special circumstances (such as buying 5 or more) don't get credit for the normal full price. You can do all the pickups in one day on the same time slot if you want, and so far it has let me use the offer FOUR times. I don't know whether this is a unique glitch or works for everyone, and I don't know how many more it will let me redeem it. Regardless, you can just create a new Kroger account for however many throwaway emails you want and use this infinitely.
While it may not appear so at first glance, properly exploited this may be the best overall deal on groceries I have seen in my entire life, and is certainly in the top 5. I am a lifelong bargain hunter so this says a lot. Today, I got 8 lbs of butterfly shrimp, 6 lbs. of cheese, 5 bags of Halloween candy, 8 2-liters, a big pack of toilet paper, 2 Freschetta pizzas, a pumpkin pie, and various condiments and cleaning supplies. The total retail price was $120, and it cost me $50. I did the same thing a couple weeks ago, and will do it again and again for as long as they let me. Exploit the hell out of this deal fully and frequently, it is a very rare gem disguised as a regular good deal.

I would love to see a copy of your receipt...I want to get the same sort of deal.
What are examples of the:
- "25 $2 items that were $1 off each with purchase of 5 or more,"
- $5 off $50 coupon (Did you have that in your Kroger Coupons??)

Kroger is such a zone / region specific marketer that I wish SD would just chop up the posts to the zones that these SD posts apply to.
Notice, there is no Ruler Foods posted in the list. Ruler is Kroger owned but has a specific region they operate in.
Ruler does honor the Kroger ecoupons. But Ruler stores are so limited in stock.

I actually took screenshots but unless I'm overlooking something it won't let me attach them. I did it by using two orders at once, and I also held what I thought was my last redemption until they had a big coupon week, which happened this week. The shrimp and cheese both had multi-use $2.00 off coupons along with a smattering of smaller coupons for the rest of what I got.
Kroger sends me a coupon book every month with a bunch of decent coupons and one special coupon. I think they do it for everyone who registers a Kroger card to their address, but I may get better coupons because I've shopped there so long. $5 off $50 is a pretty common offer for my special coupon slot, though sometimes they give me free pizza or hummus. I used it last time I ordered and verified that it also stacks with the $15 off $50. It doesn't even require that you spend $55 as both discounts check for $50 at the same time and apply simultaneously. I also cashed some rebate promos that ended up taking the total down to more like $47, all of it stacks.
This promo is awesome like that; every little piece of the puzzle that could possibly have a judgement call involved will invariably work out in the best way possible for the shopper, even when it makes no sense.
Looks like Kroger is going to be lame this year on halloween candy deals.
EVERY year they first do some deal on jumbo bags of candy, then they do the $1 off per bag when you buy 4+ (like they are doing now), then they do 50% off all candy before halloween.
Well, just noticed that "this" year they are only doing 33% off next weekend instead of 50%. So I guess I need to pay attention to stock and only get types that I think won't still be there after halloween.

Thanks,
I edit'd my Kroger profile and gave them my address and cell phone number.
Hopefully I get whatever coupons they mail out...
I used to get Free stuff texted to me on Fridays...but that seemed to have stopped a couple years back.
worst grocery experience ever. brought out order. Bunch of items missing, yet my order was significantly more than it showed at checkout, and 15$ off was not applied. Cancelled order, although not refunded so far. Complete waste of time. Know where I don't want to shop again at least.

If your kroger is like my kroger - there are a lot of empty shelves.
Anything that is free is oos. Anything that had decent deals is oos.
As in, for my area last week was the spaghetti sauce. Shelves stayed empty the entire week.
Even today, I have to go to three different name brand stores grocery stores to maybe complete my lists.

I was gonna buy some gift cards, but only saving $8.05 off of $50 isn't worth the effort since my Kroger is a hastle and a drive.
The fine print says one per household, yet on the coupon it says "Can be redeemed maximum 3 times."
Not sure which it is.
Thanks OP none the less. It's a good deal, just not slick enough for me to bother.
