Nice. I got mine for 279. Overall I am happy with it.

onemesh helps boosting coverage, but speed is much worse than dedicated mesh. you can't mix and match it with deco mesh.

This thing is huge, about the size of a mini chromebook. super thick. Antennas are fixed and can't be adjusted.

My house is 2k sqft, single floor, router is in the center of the house, coverage is sufficient.

Bought this at launch for $300. It's decent. Got plenty of coverage from it. However, for the first 6 months or so I couldn't get the maximum speed from my provider (Spectrum), I was only getting less than half of it. Sometimes it worked after a reboot but only for a short time. I called the ISP to make sure it's not their fault. It wasn't. Then, about 6 months ago TP Link released a firmware update which appears to solve the problem. It's working fine since then. I highly recommend you apply the lastest firmware to get the best functionality.

I have one in middle of first floor

Awesome coverage to the 2nd floor and all around. Max out my Comcast connection at 400 Mbps. 1700 square foot home

its the only router i could find that gave me good pings from the 2nd floor for games. I tried mesh and other things; but this one worked.

I've had this router for close to a year now. It was initially not providing my max speeds (was only getting around 580 mpbs download from my 1Gig connection. Several months ago TP-Link had a firmware upgrade and my download numbers were much improved (close to a my connection). Since day one the router has been extremely stable. I almost never have the need to restart it and it provides excellent coverage in all areas of your home.

Not buying any router unless I can install DDWRT on it.

I got the WRT3200ACM. Love it.

You can get a price adjustment. Just buy the new one at the current price and they will return you with + 20 dollars. Just did it yesterday.

I stopped using any Chinese made internet connected electronics. There is a higher chance of compromising your privacy by leaking out your information to Red China, as far as I read
I guess your limited to perhaps buying a paper clip; hard to get away from Chinese products but read into what makes it Chinese instead of feeding American propaganda

It's just as bad what the bad Chinese companies are doing with suppression

No one seems to have mentioned this but this is just a WIFI 6 device and not a WIFI 6E. The difference is WIFI 6E supports an actual hardware upgrade with a faster wireless band in the 6GHz range. In order to get WIFI 6E you'd need the AXE11000 model instead. Not many devices support WIFI 6E yet but if you are looking to future proof and go for the best tech this isn't it. With that said, I have a WiFI 6 Nighthawk and I've been happy with it. It's covers 3000+ sq ft fine. As we add onto the house and achieve 4,600 sq ft we will likely need an accompanying device to achieve 3 bars everywhere in the house. I've equally heard good things about the AX11000 so for most people this device is good enough.
