As a father of 3 I would say every baby is different and I recommend everyone reading the thread to speak with your pediatrician on the dietary needs of your infant/newborn and not take the recommendation of a random stranger on SD (no offense). Honestly if you read the ingredients it's all oil and milk powder. Some have fructose or some kind of sweetener. If your infant is ok with what you're giving them then stick with it. If your infant is having trouble with digesting with the current formula then speak with your pediatrician on what alternatives you have.
Yes I have been doing that for the last 10 years.
You can order by selecting subscribe and save ,once u get the order simply cancel the s&s.Thats what i been doing

This always goes on sale/coupon. At first I thought it was a great deal, but i found out it's just cheap formula. It's mostly fat made up of cheap oils and milk protein. This caused many issues with my little one. He had gas and reflux, constant spit up. I switched him to an organic brand and everything went away.

I'm a father of two and I can tell you that at 3-4 months they can start on liquid soft foods w/ formula. At 6 months with practice they can eat most foods with supervision and no more bottle/formula. Your baby can easily get off formula in 6 months, so get them the best. It's not worth saving $20-50 a month. It's not.

Any specific brands you recommend?

My granddaughter has been thriving on this pediatrician recommended formula. Talk to your pediatrician instead of listening to a slick deals comment.

We've been EBF for 2.5 months and are considering supplementing. Our pedestrian recommended enfamil enspire. It's pricey but she says it's the closest to breast milk out there, at least in the US.

Like someone else replied in this thread. Speak with your child's pediatrician. 6 months is too early to go off of formula/breast milk as babies need the nutrients from formula/breast milk until at least 12 months old. The solids and purees they can eat at 6 months do not provide a lot of nutritional values that babies need

Sam's club brand equivalent is $20.98 for 3 lbs. Better deal if you have a membership. Our pediatrician said it is Similac in Members Mark packaging.

Cheap American formulas. Literally scary to use based on the ingredients. FDA just approves whatever the big players make.
Look into European formulas like Hipp, Kendamil, Holle

Earth's Best was my favorite, but I also got the Kroger store brand which they have an organic version. Both did great with my son's sensitive stomach.

Also, what I meant by soft foods at 4 months are things like oat meal, blended smoothie with real fruit, essentially things that don't require chewing and won't choke.

Yes, doctors all say not until 6 months and even then only supplement milk/formula with solid food.

I give this to my baby, as it was what the hospital provided. My pediatrician said it's a pretty good formula, so I appreciate the deal.
