I use Linux. Don't have any clue how it runs MSFT stuff. The hinge has shifted to be off-center, slightly. Cosmetically, that's the only issue 4 yrs later. Last time I used it with a battery and not plugged into the wall it lasted 6 hrs - easily. I have a Core i5 8th-gen and 8G of RAM.
After less than 2 yrs, the most used keys started failing. Imagine not being able to use any of the keys on the right-hand at all. Picked up a replacement keyboard for $35 from China via ebay, but I didn't get the entire $90 "keyboard assembly" which has the plastic "rivets" to connect the keyboard to the case. Swapping the keyboard requires open-heart surgery on the laptop. For someone who knows that they are doing, it is probably 30 minutes. Took me 90 minutes and I used a dremel AND a soldering iron to deal with the plastic rivets. I doubt my "fix" will hold more than a year.
Perhaps I'm hard on keyboards? I've been using an IBM 101M on desktops and servers since the 1980s. The only laptops that have NOT needed replacement keyboards have been from Dell. Asus, Acer, HP, Toshiba, Compaq, Sony, have all needed new keyboards. Dell does something different, IME.
The F512 didn't have any issues with Linux, except the fingerprint reader has never worked. I looked into it and there isn't any driver for it. The wifi, touchpad, webcam, Scullcandy audio have all worked without any hassles.
I've never tried the bluetooth. Was at a conference a few years ago with a different, freshly installed, freshly patched, laptop and got hacked through BT. Normally, I disable it, but just happened to forget on that laptop in my hurry to get out the door for travel.
Besides the keyboard, I've been pretty happy with it, but after trying all the major brands now, I'll be going back to Dell for laptops. Keyboards just shouldn't be that much hassle.
