Can't request Price Match if you can't get it in stock anywhere...

Thank you though!

Yes, Target will adjust if you ordered from them. Also just a rant about how places are shipping this... I ordered from Best Buy and it was sent in a bubble envelope ConfusedMad which obviously it arrived all beat up. I also ordered from Target and haven't even received it yet, but hoping they weren't as dumb and shipped in a box. Regarding this sale it's also stupid to have a sale on a sold out item like they really think more stock will be in by Tuesday, if ever. The only redeeming plus is getting the adjustment if you were successful in ordering from Target.

Thanks so much for posting OP!! Was able to save $20 on my existing preorder. They actually at first didn't want to do it because it wasn't in stock but when I kindly explained I had an existing order and it was from target.com matching Target.com not some other retailer she relented and gave me the price adjustment.

Yeah unfortunately the same thing happened to me. Best buy shipped the item in a plastic bag and it came all mashed up. I was pissed and complained and I requested a new one be sent in a box. I thought they would not be able to send another one since it was sold out everywhere... but to my surprise a new one was sent. So I started thinking about this and am guessing that they must keep some additional stock in order to accommodate exchanges etc. Seems to me if this is the case, it would be a way to game the system out of an additional purchase on items that are limited to 1 per customer. I can see people requesting an exchange and then just never sending back the "defective" item.

My first one from best buy came wet. The shipping box was replaced, but the actual game box was wet inside. The replacement they sent was sent in an envelope and smashed up.
