I have two sets of these and they're great. If you have an echo Dot lying around, use the 3.5 mm jack to turn these into Bluetooth capable speakers. I keep the dot on mute and just send it there for my music and it works great.
I've had mine for about 3-4 months. Awesome speakers. Use some black electrical tape to cover up the bright light. Don't mess with the volume knob once set. Use the pc or other device to control the volume. Keep the speaker wires from touching other wires to reduce any interference. People say the quality has gone down over the years. IMO, as long as you do some prepping, it is hard to find a better value for speakers today.
Edit: Forgot to add. My speakers are plugged into an Alexa smart plug so it is easy to turn on and off. I have it synced to be able to turn on and off with my PC monitor although sometimes I am too lazy to even talk and wish there was just a button. lol
I had issues with hum. Found it to be the power supply for my uplift desk causing interference. I moved the control pod to the opposite speaker and that 3 foot distance change decreased the hum drastically.

I purchased these for my computer. Hopefully they will not have the hum some people have complained about. I saw there was one yesterday when I was at Costco, but $129. I also picked up, on the previous deal, the Amazon Speakers from Woot. https://slickdeals.net/f/15279478-amazon-basics-80w-20-20khz-active-bookshelf-speakers-pair-35-free-s-h-w-amazon-prime?src=SiteSearch For the price they actually sound very good. I am currently using it with one of those echo devices (not the dot as this one has no speaker). I am finishing up the top for my sit/stand desk and will set this Klipsch speaker up when I set it up. The two biggest complaints are the bright light (e.g. use some tape) and not being able to turn it off from the volume control. The hum is hit or miss. Finding good computer speakers in this price range is near impossible. Do not know about the longevity of the speakers.
I'm thinking about order another set for another TV. But I'm still shopping for the new TV. This will depend on if the new TV has a 3.5mm port (uncommon these days). There are solutions for lack of 3.5mm port, but not ideal for me.

I have an older one of these (back from 2012 or so) that I'm using for my TV. You'll need a 3.5mm jack on your TV (or whatever source you'll be hooking these up to) or at least an adapter. I live in a small townhome, and these speakers can fill up the first floor easily without any distortion. The subwoofer can be powerful as well (adjustable).
Some people noted that the quality went down over the years, but if it's anything remotely close to the one I currently have, I would highly recommend it. If I were in the market for computer speakers, I would definitely get these.
Bought these last time and couldn't play two audio sources at the same time which is possible with the previous versions of these speakers. Sub would also get really hot since you can't turn these off. They sounded great though. Also had a really strong chemical/paint smell.

Yeah I scored 5 of them (4 actively in use). 5th was bought as a spare. That was pretty slick.

In the end, my priority will be the TV.
