The Klipsch are true two way satellites with a horn tweeter. I think the Logitech are one way full range. Logitech used to make a Z Cinema 2.1 that was better than anything else, but discontinued it. Was a $299 system and went on clearance for $99 years ago. I still have it and 2 sets of the Pro Media. Both excellent, but the Z Cinema wins out for sound quality and never distorts. For $80 this is almost impossible to beat.

Bought these several months ago to use as PC speakers. These are amazing! The bass is pretty nice for what it is. I never use these speakers at max volume. I'd say with my PC at 70, I always keep the knob on the speaker around 50-70 pending on what I'm listening to. Pair this with a good sound card and you are good to go! The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a switch to turn on and off so until I get a plug with a switch, that's what I have to do. That white light can be annoying pending where you place the speaker.

There really isn't anything close to these for 80 bucks in terms of computer speakers. I've had mine for about 10 years now without any issues.

I got these a few months ago when some place had them for like $60. After hearing the sound they put out, I'd gladly pay full price if they ever failed me. They get very loud and still sound awesome. You can barely tap the volume knob and it will get quite a bit louder. I have the sub and the volume around a quarter of the way up and it's all I need while sitting at my desk.

How do these compare to 200 watt equivalent Logitech 2.1 THX certified computer speakers?

Because there's no power button on these speakers, I use a wifi outlet from urlhasbeenblocked (but any will work) for this so I'm able to turn it off. Only thing is the speakers will 'pop' and it doesn't sound very pleasing every time I turn it off….So I just leave them on lol.
If you leave it on, it consumes $10 electricity every year.

Thanks for the informative feedback! in your opinion, any chance this will go back down lower like before? just deciding whether to buy something I don't need but want at $80 or wait till it drops back down to ~$60 and then pull the trigger.
