Title is confusing:

"TP-Link Deco AX5700 Tri-Band Smart Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (2- pack) $199.99
$289.99 at Costco Wholesale"

Is it $199 or $289?

I saw it momentarily for $199, but then just a few minutes later after searching to make sure it was the same deal I had bought just a couple weeks ago, it was gone.... On Slickdeals, when sometimes you snooze, you lose.

I am guessing you got a 3 pack of orbi so coverage will be greater with the orbi, but the orbis depending on which model you got even the highest end wifi 6 model tops out at around 900Mbps while this AX5700 over wireless tops out around 1.4Gbps.... so takes full advantage of 1 Gbps internet and still gives you more space for LAN side activities besides it bigger brother the X90 which has an extra antenna they are literally the best mesh you can buy.

Some people do have an issue with the 2nd unit disconnecting from the 1st as the only real issue to keep an eye out for, happened to a very few amount of people, but its a possibility.

i have this one: TP-Link AX6600 Deco - 2 nodes as well...

I love it...i am going to research it, but I'd like to know if they will all connect to each other because even with the 6600, I have a couple of weak spots outside and in corners of the house.

I'm having wierd issues where certain devices will be next to a node but connected to a much further node and have bad speeds, I may troubleshoot a bit to see if that resolves

Theres probably a couple of things to look at. Do you have fast roaming on or off? Also for the devices that are locked to a node, do you have the mesh option turned on or off for that particular device?

Looks like Angiew covered the main things to look at. Even with the greatest mesh the final choice if a device switches is always with the client device. The only other thing you can try is moving the two router units further apart.
