Enjoying ours. Got one last time around when it was on sale for $1399. Went through customer service chat and got a price adjustment today!
I didn't know this was an option, thanks so much for mentioning it. Got $100 back as well.

Anyone has a real life comparison to Galaxy book Pro 360. That is usually cheaper, lighter, has oled screen (although lower res). Apart the screen perhaps being divisive on paper sounds like a better option.
I tried them both in-store, though not at the same time, as the Galaxy Book Pro 360 was at BestBuy. I was not a huge fan of the Samsung's keyboard. It was pretty shallow. Not as bad as the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, but close. Meanwhile, the LG's key travel is pretty nice and deep. Also, it's hard to oversell the 16x10 ratio on the screen. I love it for side-by-side document editing, which I do a lot. And while the LG's screen is not OLED, it is really nice and bright. It's noticeably brighter than my wife's Lenovo, which I think has a 250 nit screen (but also cost less than half what the LG does -- Lol).

Anyway, I ended up buying the LG from Costco a couple of weeks ago, and I have zero regrets. I feel like it's a fantastic, light ultrabook with a big, bright screen and wonderful battery life. Plus I have the ability to annotate and e-sign documents with a stylus when I need to. It provides a lot of flexibility with few, if any compromises for my use.

Rep for post. My company will subsidize $650, but IT requires Windows 10 Pro. Sadly, this $1300 laptop comes with only Windows 10 Home.

So they won't allow you to buy Windows 10 Pro license separately?

Ask your company if they will install Windows 10 Pro or if you can purchase a personal copy through an employee purchase program. I've seen cases where the corporate agreement has enabled employees to purchase Microsoft software at very discounted rates. You could wait until Black Friday and purchase it at a low enough price that you don't mind paying for Windows 10 Pro.

The size difference is intrinsically negligible but I've heard the aspect ratio for the 16" is significantly better. I remember reading something about how web pages are rendered better, or something like that. I'm sure you can find it by googling it.

As I mentioned above, I think the size difference between 15.6" and 17.1" is barely noticeable ("negligible" might be going too far, but I thought I would notice a difference and I don't really).
Here are the facts on aspect ratios:

https://www.lg.com/us/laptops/lg-...lim-laptop 17" IPS 16:10 WQXGA (2560x1600)

https://www.lg.com/us/laptops/lg-...lim-laptop 2-in-1 16" IPS 16:10 touch WQXGA (2560x1600)

Aspect ratio is the same for both.

Is the sound any better with the 2 in 1? I have the 17 LG Gram i7 laptop from Costco. It's OK for Netflix but won't go loud enough for some quieter sources.

Used to see that lg gram 17 $1500 on Costco website but no longer. Wonder if they pulled it to get ready for Nov 1st - 14 ads or if people buy to price adjust afterward..
