FYI steam comments allude to horribly compressed audio and predatory DLC in this remake.
The Digital Deluxe Edition for $4 difference gets you the DLC.
And here's a couple of things to point out with it, as someone who owned the OG PS2 game and owns this one.
The Dante DLC was on the OG PS2 release, but was swapped for Raidou Kuzunoha for the free add-in. Dante was paywalled.
The BGM pack is not necessary - It's just additional music.
Merciful difficulty is an "easy mode" option (and is free).
The Mercy and Expectation DLC is just two maps where you get items for extra EXP and money,

Hmmm, thanks, I'll be wary of that if it's anything like SMT IV. I wasn't even aware I was entering the DLC in that, and it made me very OP pretty quickly. Sucked away some of the entertainment, IMO.
Please buy this, it's an excellent game and this is amazing.
Yes, it is a pretty bad remaster. Don't buy the DLC unless you want Dante in the game (by default, they replace it with Raidou). The other DLC is just junk to cut down on grinding and adds 0 content.
But the actual game itself is a masterpiece, and the compressed audio is indeed just how I like it.
