One weakness is the power port, which has failed on one of my older machines (back in the Pentium 3 era). My biggest concern today is the hinges, which can be weak as well.
In comparison, my day-job company provides me with Dell business machines (Latitude series). My personal HPs have outlasted and outperformed them all.
I have, in fact, just recommended this machine to a coworker who is happy with his two kids' HP machines to date as well. He just wants something newer and low cost, and this is a great option.
Again, these are just opinions, and I'm not calling you out... I just wanted to provide the contrasting opinion to other readers..

This is a great price. Pre Black Friday? Seems HP is really pushing this model. It has a very fast four core I3. Better than a Ryzen 5. This is far better than the Gateways that sold for a similar price but are all soldered with old style SATA III not NVME.
If you prefer 14" you can get it for $50 more at Costco.
