This year's most anticipated models of Chromebooks will use the new Jasper Lake Intel Pentiums which do include the model N6000 in addition to the N4500. This is noteworthy because the current benchmarking within ChromeOS suggests i3-level performance from what remains a low-power, low-cost Intel part (approximately 50% performance improvements over the prior generation N4000/N4020 CPUs).

Of course, with all the supply-chain issues this year it should be no surprise that the biggest priority hasn't been low-cost Chromebooks. What few models have appeared have been from brands which are pretty invested in Chromebooks (such as new models from Samsung) but those are still commanding a premium.

There's Chromebooks with i3's, 5's and 7's. I'm guessing the next round of inexpensive Chromebooks will have N4120's and 5000's in them.

How's it run with 2 or 3 mostly text pages open?? I'm assuming it should be ok.. looking to pick either this or the Acer(311) Chromebook from Target that was posted earlier
