Episode 1 Racer was amazing in 1999 and still holds up when I play it on PC nowadays, even if the graphics are kind of terrible. Only Road Rash (1996 Sega Saturn, IIRC) gives a comparable sense of impossibly dangerous speed.

It's just the one track and there are no opponents, but it's beautiful and challenging. I've had this installed at home for about two years.
