The "Switch" labels were just kind-of a marketing thing but it did assure buyers that these would work well with their Nintendo device. In general you can often find faster-spec cards that might be better for video recording or something like that; these are just good, stable, reliable cards with a cute label as a bonus.

Also beware of off-brands with great specs -- may not be real. Or even "name-brand" like Sandisk or Samsung if not sold by a reputable seller. The 3rd-party market is full of fakes.

Yeah the 400, 512, and larger still go for a premium. That's because it's harder to squeeze that much memory reliably into the size they have to work with. And each time the technology improves, what used to be the "top-end" like 256 used to be, that becomes the "commodity" product and they have to push the tech more to get to 512 or larger. I think there are even 1TB cards at an extreme price. But also I'd probably not trust 'em yet....

Yes, you can swap SD cards on the SAME Switch for the same user. So you can have multiple cards you can exchange on ONE switch.

You can't have one card you exchange to different Switches. Even if the same Nintendo User.

When I got a new Switch I assumed everything on my SD card would load in the new system (provided I was authenticated with Nintendo as the user). Instead, it told me the SD card was from another system, and would have to be re-formatted (erased) before I could use it, and then I'd have to Redownload everything that was on it. I don't know if they changed the policy, but that was how it worked (or rather, didn't work) for me about a year ago.

Great deal. Weird how they're listed as MicroSDXC on Costco.com while the other SanDisk cards are MicroSD. I just searched for these the other day.

Of note, there's also a 2x 128gb for $34.99, not quite as good of deal, but if you have cameras that say they only support up to 128gb and you don't want to risk losing footage, they'll be the safer bet.

Yes, and they can be used for any device, not just switch

I think any SD card 64gb and above is considered XC

Something like that, but when they had the 2x 128gb SanDisk Plus and now the 400gb on the website, they're worded as MicroSD. It just makes finding these switch cards in their website damn near impossible, as they don't show in the search results for "MicroSD".

Anyone ever tried "Swapping" SD cards for Switch? If one's full, are you able to just keep swapping some in and out and keep installing games?

Previous comment seems to cover this very good. Just reiterating that these switch cards are marketing. There is currently, and also a few weeks ago, FP deals for class 10, U1 / U3 512gb cards for ~$55.

Might want to add that this is for a 2-pack, since for a single card the prices listed are 2x the common 'sale' price.
